Completion of PGY-1 Year. You must have successfully completed (or be in the process of completing) an ACGME-accredited PGY-1 year in Family Medicine. 2-Good Standing in Current Residency. A letter from your current Program Director (PD) indicating you’re in good standing and eligible for transfer 3-USMLE or COMLEX Scores. Passing scores for: USMLE Step 1 & 2 &3 4-ECFMG Certification (For IMGs). If you’re an International Medical Graduate, you must be ECFMG certified 5-Application Materials Typically Required. CV/Resume Personal Statement (tailored to FM and explaining why you’re transferring) MSPE/Dean’s Letter Medical School Transcripts USMLE/COMLEX score reports Letters of Recommendation (Usually 2–3, preferably from current/former attendings or program leadership) Letter of Good Standing / Evaluation from Current Program Semiannual evaluations Block schedule for the PGY-1 successfully completed with Rotation evaluations
